For the second consecutive year, on International Women’s Day, the Euro-Arab Foundation brings back to the Euro-Arab Foundation the exhibition JOURNEY TO MATRIA, a collective exhibition of 14 artists convened for this commemoration of the vindication of equal rights, values and culture of the feminine.
Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m., in the courtyard of the Euro-Arab Foundation.
This exhibition, organised by the Euro-Arab Foundation and the Research Group ‘HUM 211: The medium as a dynamic factor in the didactic practice of Art, is curated by Juan García Villar, professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Granada, and presents a group exhibition of 14 authors who reflect on the need for real equality between women and men in our societies.
With a great diversity of languages, techniques and supports, VIAJE A MATRIA presents different works by 14 artists using pictorial, sculptural, digital, graphic, photographic and video-creation techniques.
The exhibition can be visited at the Euro-Arab Foundation from March 6th to April 5th, from Monday to Thursday, from 9am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8pm; Friday mornings only and closed on weekends and public holidays.
