On Monday, the Executive Secretary of the Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies, Antonio Sánchez Ortega, and the President of the Qatari foundation ‘New Ground Research’, Khalid F. Al Khater, signed a framework collaboration agreement at the Euro-Arab headquarters with the aim of promoting and developing joint academic and research activities. Both stressed the importance of working for mutual human understanding, as well as the strengthening of new avenues for teaching, research and academic and cultural development.
New Ground Research has recently opened its headquarters in Granada and its main objective is to foster a deeper and more constructive global dialogue. The organisation is dedicated to exploring issues of universal relevance such as culture and history. Through their initiatives, they seek to build bridges between different societies and promote mutual understanding as a basis for a more sustainable future.

During the signing meeting, the Euro-Arab executive secretary assured that there are “multiple fields in which both institutions can join forces” within the framework of their objectives. The Euro-Arab Foundation and New Ground will thus start working on a series of projects that will combine their strengths and experience. Further details about these projects will be announced soon.
