100 YEARS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

The “100 YEARS OF PHOTOGRAPHY” Days, which are held from February to June, take place as a response to this year’s celebration of the centenary of the School of Art of Granada.

On the occasion of this anniversary, the School of Art of Granada has organized these Photography Days which offer a reflection on photographic gaze from a modern and multidisciplinary approach. Also, the Days tackle the current situation of that issue from different fields, like photojournalism, advertising, fashion, cinema and architecture, highlighting the role of Photography as a bearer of social, cultural and artistic discourse.

Several prestigious Photography professionals participate in these Days during which they impart public lectures and Master Classes. Their main aim is to share their experience and exclusive insights regarding photography with students of the School of Art of Granada and the University of Granada. At the same time, the program includes several photographic exhibitions of the invited speakers.
